Caribbean Beaches

Caribbean Beaches
The islands of the Caribbean boast of some of the best beaches in the world. Almost all the islands have at least one beach to offer to tourists. Tourists mistake all of the islands to be the same, which is not the case. In fact, each individual island has something unique to offer, and making a wrong choice can blur your entire tourism experience.

Here are some of the best-known beaches in the Caribbean:

Little Bay, Anguilla: a tranquil, tiny half-moon shaped sandy bay protected by high cliffs. An excellent place for sunbathing or snorkeling, nearby tourist areas include Shoal Bay, Rendezvous Bay, or Road Bay offer a few more facilities and action.

Pink Beach, Harbor Island, Bahamas: One of the most photographed beaches in the world, the Pink Beach is a 3-mile stretch of powder coral sand. The name is derived from pink color of the sand because of flecks of red coral mixed with fine sugar-white sand.

Placencia, Belize: A perfect sandy beach along a long, narrow peninsula in South East Belize, the beach offers plenty of opportunities apart from just lying on the sand.

South Water Caye, Belize: The second longest barrier reef in the world stretching 180 miles from Mexico to the Sapodilla Cayes, the South Water Caye gives a memorable experience with snorkeling, diving, and fishing opportunities.

The Baths, Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands: the pinkish sands, peppermint green water, hemmed with palm groves, The Baths is one of the most popular spots in the British Virgin Islands.

Anse la Roche, Grenada, Carriacou: A perfect perfect beach of white sand with a superb view of the Union Island. Grand Anse Beach on the main island is also worth viewing

Ste-Anne Beach, Guadeloupe, Grande-Terre Island: Guadeloupe has a good reputation for French Creole cuisine. Ste-Anne Beach is remarkable with a rugged coastline and fine sand.

Diamond Beach, Martinique, Le Diamant: The finest beach in Ste-Anne, and perhaps in the entire south, Les Salines is the only gay beach in Martinique. The picturesque view of offshore Diamond Rock Island is another reason for the crowd.

Playa Flamenco, Puerto Rico, Culebra Island: The perfect beach for you if you want the sun, sand, and serenity in the Caribbean, Playa Flamenco offers great opportunities including snorkeling, diving, and bird watching

Englishman's, Bay Tobago: Tobago is one of the hippest destination for celebrities and rich stiffs due to some new and stylish boutique hotels. Diving is also becoming well-known here, like at Pigeon Point beach, but for escapism Englishman's Bay is the one - sheltered by palm-jungle, it has a white sand beach with very little development. This secluded beach is good for year-round swimming and snorkelling, though as usual Dec- April is best, busiest and most expensive. Avoid Sept.

Casuarina Beach, Palm Island, St Vincent and the Grenadines: The prettiest of four beaches on this Caribbean island, the Casuarina Beach is beautifully surrounded by coral reefs.

Trunk Bay, St. John, The US Virgin Islands: Trunk Bay is regarded as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. One of the best spots to offer swimming, snorkeling, and diving opportunities, Trunk Bay also hosts the world's first marked underwater trails
